We open doors to subjects, locations and communities, and handle the Cinematography Agency permit (the general filming permit; ~5 working days).
Natural-location craft
Uzbekistan's strength is its untamed landscape — desert, mountains, the Aral Sea region. These reward planning around light and season more than controlled sets.
In-house post
Edit, grade, sound and graphics under one roof, 1–4 weeks typical.
A Note on Tougher Locations
Some places look easy and aren’t. The Aral Sea area, for example, surprises crews on logistics and self-sufficiency — there’s far less infrastructure than the visuals suggest. We plan supply, power, backup gear and contingencies for exactly these shoots, because on remote documentary days there’s no second take and no rental house around the corner.
Access, Permits and Ethics
We file the general filming permit and arrange any site-specific agreements, and we approach communities and subjects respectfully — non-negotiable for credible documentary work and for productions that want to return.
